Where is the button for blindfiring over your shoulder? Where is the button for throwing an empty mag at an enemy? These are things you can do when you have tracked motion controllers. There arent enough buttons in the world to replicate your wrist, elbow and shoulder joints which VR tracks seamlessly.
So you are wrong and an idiot if you think "if you make a VR game, and Gamepad isn't an option for an input device. You f'd up. And did something wrong."
Bro its obvious youre a clown who hates on something they've never even tried themselves. What a dumbass
Everything you just used as an example is optional...
Do you understand that word?
Now if your entire game revolved around blind firing you'd have a point to make.
Does half like alyx and metro gamepla6 revolve around blind firing...do i miss out on anything if I don't blind fire?
This comes back to why do vr racinggames let me use automatic instead of forcing me to use Motion gimmicks to simulate a manual transmission...
Why are racing Sims the only ones still providing options on input controls?
Maybe when vr fps games take input options seriously, vr can go mainatream.
It's been a while since I've played Half-Life: Alyx, but I think I actually do remember thinking that the shooting mechanics in Space Pirate Trainer made better use of the unique gameplay possibilities you have with roomscale VR and VR motion controllers. Like, there was more shooting from behind objects, yes, more ducking, crouching, etc to gain advantage in combat... and that sort of thing. Not to say HL:A didn't have these things at times, but quantity of opportunities to use VR capabilities to enhance gameplay is something that could be improved upon.
Half-Life: Alyx was an awesome VR game and a landmark game for the VR industry, but I think it's fair to say it could still be improved upon in certain ways in future games.
Thank you for the award! I’d like to thank Todd Howard.
This is a non issue lol
You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ still living like a kindergarden kid?. Your way, or no way?.

Regardless of your feelings and purchase decisions, Another market that contains very passionate VR players is just now robust enough that VR games released for multiple platforms like this game are the future.
Ideally studios will notice that they could make games budgeted for larger experiences like this and tackle making both a VR and flat-screen multiplatform game simultaneously. Some of this is dependent on the work the Flat2VR studios team does, too.
Just pretend it's nothing you would ever want forever, or just ignore the VR games. They aren't going to miss you and will not hurt you with their existence, promise.
ROFL, again a stupid controller boy with autoaiming playing cod the whole night and hiding his profile so nobody notice.
