Also the pacing is often different in VR games to reduce potential for VR motion sickness. So when you port a VR game to flatscreen with mods, people are like what the heck why is the gameplay paced so slow? But in VR it's fine and doesn't feel as if it's paced slowly.
I prefer watch a big screen than put a helmet on my head to play, the devil want you in the matrix, you are the beginners
you forgot your meds again
Subnautica after 8 years, is still the best VR game I've ever played.
Half life alyx is boring. Even with the motion controls.
Slow games are slow... news at 9.
We are talking about an option to press a button reload or waving arms to reload.... in a general sense of input options.
IF this game had both.... it's a game made for noone iyo.
Is this game Multiplayer or Single player?
Are we competing at reloading in a single player game?
IF an automated reload makes the game slow and boring suddenly..... Wow.
You have to twist that door handle or the game is boring.......
I wonder what kind of gamer gets infatuated with twisting door handles?
Maybe if you opening doors just a bit with your left hand and you can use your other hand to put pistol in narrow gap to shoot unaware enemy can be more fun than moving whole camera and pointing enemy in middle of it or than pressing F to pay respects in COD game?
I've played Flat games that give full control of the swing of the door opening. Can't remember the game for the moment, but I've seen it.
The only real problem is if you arbitrarily built a gatekeeping mechanic into the game that required the user to have to open the door in a very specific way.
Otherwise. There really is no problem if Player A is sneaking through the door and player B is just throwing it wide open.
IS THERE?
Are you saying that you're making VR ONLY games on behalf of forcing a playstyle on all gamers who choose to play that game?
Why do Racing sims still allow people to use automatic transmission instead of forcing everyone to learn to shift manually?
VR ONLY gaming, is the equivlent of forcing everyone to play with manual transmission. IT has to stop.
I have zero interest in that reload simulator or watching any videos about it.
But basically this game will have flat screen mode, we can compare machanics when it will be out. There are two more inputs for the player (two hands) not only drone like camera moved by cursors.
Except in this case there is no exclusivity, it is on meta, it is on steam, it is on psvr2. They are basically complaining that a movie was made instead of a novel.
