Thanks I will try. But still, something is not ok with lighting in this game. It shouldn't be that dark when a light sources all around you. It feels like they wanted to use raytracing but in the middle of development just scap it and forget to add it in traditional way.
Have you even been to a cave in real life? Of course it should be dark.
Have you ever lit a candle in real life? The surroundings are dark but not pitch-black.
Almost like there should be a oled/lcd toggle that adjusts the gamma a bit.
I agree. On my quest it's not great in the dark. The really dark areas not pitch black, but since the lcds suck for blacks it becomes all grey. You see no detail. But this game with the psvr 2 is really awesome. I actually don't need to pull out the flash light hardly ever. Its dark but you can see the environment mostly. Even with the headsets flaws it has won some points in this game for me.
I can't see where to leave or enter a Room, Can't see how many and what enemies there are in and sure as hell i can't hit them because the screen is basically full black.
Darkness is one thing, but it could do with a little more contrast.
With Index I constantly needed the lamp.
Thanks to the Rift CV1 SDE the low-res Quest textures also looked a lot better, with the SDE fooling my brain. And TAA always looked sharp and non-blurry with the CV1 - so I completely gave up on Index and used CV1 instead.
Now who would have thought that the CV1 would come in handy in 2024? ;-)
