No need for a flat-version.

Game is too short and it would be too easy to play by keyboard and mouse.
The real thrill is to get the experience in VR.
Buy a VR-Headset and you will understand :)

Just buy a good cheap vr set for pc. This game is a good vr game. If you don't mind the darkness.

VR game design is very different, you walk much more slowly and check corner to corner because it is much harder to aim, and re-positioning and reloading is much more of a risk compared to flat game, where both your movement and your shooting are just moving mouses and clicking buttons. So we cannot have both flat and vr version if we want both to be a good game.

And this is a good game indeed. I suggest Quest 3 as the best wireless VR headset but I guess Quest 3S is cheaper if you are unsure to pull the trigger or not.
