Must be your potato set up.
Yeah, why would I?
The last game I bought from vertigo was after the fall - and even then, their floating hands, belt inventory system was dated.
You can play Skyrim VR with mods that add a VRIK body and physics for everything, RIGHT NOW and it's 100x more impressive than anything vertigo has done so far.
I called this game being trash from the moment vertigo announced they were making it, and I was right.
Who says floating hands are bad? I say floating hands are bad. You're used to seeing arms connected to your hands, and I don't know what world you think that improves immersion for, but you're objectively wrong if you do.
Again, There are plenty of people that think VR is a gimmick, and how are you supposed to convince them otherwise when slop like this gets coped into acceptance?
As for the people responding with "I prefer floating hands, I'll say that hearing "hey, I'll have you know that I prefer the taste of glue" is probably something that's not out of the realm of possibility in normal conversation with them, so I'll abstain.
Like every developers have the same skills and knowledge in game development.
They did a Metro game in VR, and it's a great Metro game in VR, is it perfect ? No. Is it good and fun ? Hell yeah.
It reminds me of Medal of honor A&B launch, hundreds of players were disappointed because it wasn't like half life Alyx and whinned about it, but the game was good and was a good Medal of honor.
I think those users have forgotten one big thing, PCVR isn't big enough to have bigger studio make bigger games.
Games like this can help show those studios and publishers if there are still a PCVR player base, but they won't risk a big loss to put too much money.
4A games made a VR game, Arktika.1 , it was a nice looking corridor rail shooting. They could have made the games themselves, but didn't.
Once again, Vertigo games did a Great job with what they had, it's their best game so far, and it's nice to watch them grow and do bigger games. Do they also need to improve, yes, but they're on the good path.
