I noticed that it's much better when enabling "OpenXR" in the "Varjo Aero Base" settings, but by doing so my controllers stop working. I'll continue troubleshooting on my side.
- First of all, make sure you're on the latest version of Varjo base, I am on version 4.4 (that was actually my issue, my version was one year old).
- In "Varjo Base", go in the "System" tab, turn off OpenVR, and turn on OpenXR
- Now, SteamVR will conplain that it cannot connect to the headset anymore : This is fine!
- Make sure SteamVR is bypassed : In the small SteamVR window, click on the version number/header-> Settings -> OpenXR, make sure it is set to Varjo, not SteamVR!
- Launch the game, the loading screen will be pretty long, but it worked for me, no more shaky camera, and controllers are working
