In-Game Menu Button for Knuckles Controllers?

Using my Varjo Aero in OpenXR mode so I'm bypassing SteamVR directly, though still using my Knuckles controllers. Works great, but can't seem to pull up the menu button while in-game. Neither of the start/select buttons do anything on the controllers. Anyone figure this out?

Me too....same proplem on Windows Mixed Reality Acer...game strating, i see picture and when a need to accept terms....controllers doesn't work

i actually found out by coincidence when i wanted to hit Max with my fist.
Im on index with knuckles but it should be similar with other controllers.
Hold trigger and keys A and B pressed for a couple seconds on whichever u set dominant hand, then the menu should open

Didn´t know this combination also. What i do is pressing the Steam-Menue-Button and when it opens the gamemenue is behind the Steam-Menue. I close the Steam-Menue and get access to the Game-Menue.

The problem is that I'm using knuckles controllers but not using the SteamVR runtime, so SteamVR isn't running. So there's no Steam menu, and therefore no in-game menu to pop up afterwards

Aehm. How possible that you are running games in SteamVR without SteamVR ?

I'm using OpenXR runtime to play the game via my Varjo Aero headset, not the SteamVR runtime. I'm getting knuckles controller tracking, but as I mentioned above, I'm not running the game through SteamVR.

If you're unfamiliar with VR runtimes, do a quick google search and you should be able to figure it out

SteamVR is based on OpenVR, also but you are using a fork of OpenVR modified by VARJO. Possible to use the SteamVR-API instead of the Varjo one ?
Never used a Varjo myselves so i don´t know if you are able to set the Steam-Settings in the Steam-Client.

n SteamVR i could change the Poses of the controllers. Sad that all is now broken, but that seems that the game will recognize the SteamVR-Controller-Settings. And this must be our chance to change the angles of the weapons or the functions of the buttons.

I am still testing.

Use the button which is set for the SteamVR-Menue. When it opens the game stops und shows its own menue.
Close the Steam-Menue and you can use the game´s menue.

It works when I change the runtime to SteamVR. But it has more than double lower FPS than Varjo OpenXR runtime, so I will continue to use Varjo anyway.

Was there ever a solution to this, I'm experiencing the same issue on a Varjo Aero, holding A+B+T didn't do anything. I've tried but dominant and non dominant and a combination of both to no avail.

Hold the B or the Y button (top button) for like 5 seconds and menu will pop up.

Any solution to this yet? No button combo works for me Valve Index controllers and Varjo also
