Gunstock calibration
VR is about immersion. Many VR FPS lovers use a physical gun stock accessory to couple the controllers together so that aiming long guns feels more natural. Please add a simple gun stock calibration, perhaps simply based on the position of the trigger hang controller.

agree, I build my own stocks for VR so if they can add a Z and X axis adjust and auto grab via proximity without that sticky hand thing I feel this would be an amazing game for immersion.

Ha! We'll be so lucky, but let's wait an see. I doubt they're monitoring this.

gunstocks are the enemy of immersion, try switching your weapon and that ♥♥♥♥ will be dangling somewhere by your leg

Ever switched to a hand gun from a rifle? Where do you think the rifle goes? It doesn't magically stick to your chest...

I guess it's a personal thing, but after years playing Onward VR league, it's a total game changer being able to get a cheeky weld and look down a scope and have the VR controllers attached so that you can aim more realistically.

I'll conceed that it's an adjustment, most stock users (including myself) report that it's an adjustment and then a total game changer. Way more immersive, way better for shooting. Probably not for casual players though.

I think it would be hard to have a gunstock to fit every gun ingame. The shotgun will need very different hand positioning than an ak for example. I've never seen a gunstock not look like a nuisance. I personally tried one for a week and It's now about 100 dollars collecting dust in the basement in a box somewhere. Maybe if the actual stock was a controller with tracking, and you could switch to a pistol controller with tracking, that would make more sense. But one size, at least for me, does not fit all.

In the unlikely event the Devs are watching. The best implementation I've seen so far, is in game gunstock calibration. You have your current gun in hand and hit a menu option which puts you in a calibration mode, where you use the thumb sticks to change the angles of the gun in game. In Onward VR this is done per gun and works really well, avoiding the need to change your physical gun stock geometry for each gun.
