Game about Russian Metro without Russian language support? Seriously?
The game takes place in Russia, but the Russian-speaking characters can speak only English? This is nonsense, minus the atmosphere.

I played Metro in german and the atmosphere where breathtaking, couldn't complain. I don't need russian language. English works perfectly.

Take in mind, it's Unreal Engine. There will be probably a mod with russian voices some day.

Well it's a small price to pay, i don't need to hear that language in my life anymore.

Yeah... without the native language the game really feels akward, like i am watching a badly dubbed movie in the 80s, at least thats what i felt when trying out Metro games in english (same with Stalker as well).

Its the same with japanese games, its very hard to to get immersed when the whole setting exudes a specific culture/region and yet everyone is speaking in silly hollywood accented english.

Maybe devs wanted to skip on costs since this is a small project? If so they should have just used russian dub and foregone the english one.

I just hope Metro 4 or whatever is gonna be called has russian voices.

Nothing beats the cringe/awkwardness of greek dubs and im very glad the game doesnt have them. 95% of all greek dubbing whether anime, cartoons, games, movies or live action series are painful, but a large portion of natives to the greek (and cypriot dialect) language are ok with the dubbing, because majority wise our english is horrendous

It's ridiculous, honestly, just very ignorant.

Yeah i hope the clown irl ♥♥♥♥ won't affect another series i care about, really annoying and insane to pull out a language because of politics.

Hell no! russian are very primitive in their minds and behavior. They don't know a foreign language (same as important international as eng) at all and don't want to learn. They want to use only other people's ideas and in a ready-made form. For some reason, thinking that they (russians/same as ukrainians) supposedly, everyone should do everything.

Are you Russian? Because otherwise there is no fun in reading subtitles in a VR games, or even any game at all.
будет русификатор не велика проблема

Shame that you apparently have no self-reflection. Wonder how can anyone be surprised or call someone "ignorant" because of this. Russian people are actually being ignorant.

Do you know everyone personally?

You don't have to know everyone, you just have to look what's happening in Ukraine and Russia.

Bruh, this story is set in the Moscow subway, I don't want to listen to these cringe-awarding attempts of VAs to speak in "russian accent" english. It would've been better if english voices were not an option at all if russian dubbing would be there instead.

Also, my man, respectfully, you're blind. Most english-speaking russians you've met on the internet probably speak english better than you do, so you didn't even notice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
