Switching Players While Defending is Weird

I played a lot of match in offline mode (such as Manager Career, Kick Off, ETC.), and the problem i have is while defending, there's an error when i want to switch my player with L1/LB. I lose my mind when suddenly the indicator on the next player to switch on appear on like 5-6 players. The most desperating problem is when i pressed L1/LB (Luckily to the player i wanted to) and started to move the player, suddenly it switched automatically to another player while on my settings i set it on manual. Please EA fix the glitch.
