FC25 on Steam or EA APP?

What's better?! Usually i buy fifa on Origin/EA App, on the App it's also a few bucks cheaper. Does Steam version has any disadvantages, still need EA app to start FC25 or is it really standalone?!

Do Mods work on both versions?!

I read in past mod developer suggesting to buy from ea store as it is easy to stop game update which break the mod you can ask in mod developers discord server

yeah, that's one reason i really don't like modding FC. It's annoying to constantly copy/paste older update-files from TU#1 to TU#18 :/
Actually, i don't need mods this year since they added simulation-gameplay, that's the only reason i even used mods.

I still prefer Steam, so is this really standalone without the need of EA APP?!

ea app is always required whether you buy from steam or others

Maybe Steam fanboys will one day learn, it makes no sense to buy games from publishers with own store/launcher on Steam. Why put bloatware in between? But then again, most will never learn and just keep complaining about crashing games, stability issues and so on...

It's kinda pointless, either no App-dependency or no publishing on Steam. It should be clearer on the StorePage or so, that it still needs the EA-APP.

Here on Steam you only have the advantage of a 2 hour refund period, but i allready could test it 10 hours via gamepass, so i knew what i was getting.....and i payed 3,50€ less :)
