As an active player of EA Sports FC 25, I would like to share several recurring issues that significantly affect the gameplay experience—especially in Career Mode. While the game has great potential, the following problems are widespread within the community and need urgent attention. I’m also including constructive suggestions that may help improve these areas.
🔧 1. Squad Changes Are Not Saving
Adjustments made to tactics, formations, or player roles are often not saved properly. Even after manually configuring everything before or after a match, players are forced to repeat the same steps every time they load into Career Mode.
Suggestion: Please implement an autosave or persistent squad memory system that retains the last used tactics and formations. A manual "Save Squad Setup" option would also be very useful.
💥 2. Optimization Problems and Game Crashes
Menu navigation causes noticeable lag and stutter.
Performance in Career Mode worsens as the save file progresses.
Occasional game crashes occur during match loading screens or post-match transitions.
These issues indicate serious performance and optimization shortcomings, even on capable hardware and consoles.
Suggestion: Simplifying menu animations and optimizing memory usage—especially in long Career Mode saves—should be prioritized in future updates.
🧠 3. Poor Artificial Intelligence (AI) Behavior
AI-controlled players and opponents behave unrealistically:
CPU teams are highly predictable in their attacks.
Teammates are unresponsive to threats, fail to apply pressure, and poorly position themselves.
As matches progress, AI performance seems to deteriorate artificially, leading to immersion-breaking mistakes.
Suggestion: Introduce dynamic AI that adapts based on player form, match context, and tactical changes. Players should respond to morale, fatigue, and pressure situations in a realistic way.
🧱 4. Major Issues with Defending and Goalkeepers
🛡️ Defensive AI Problems
Center backs often fail to track runs and leave massive gaps.
Fullbacks remain static and don’t press wingers properly.
Even with manual control, defensive actions feel delayed and unresponsive.
🧤 Goalkeeper Weaknesses
Goalkeepers concede easy goals, especially from long-range shots.
They frequently fail to react or dive in time, even when the ball is within reach.
In 1v1 situations, goalkeepers behave irrationally—either charging too late or getting easily beaten.
Poor positioning and failure to claim crosses is a persistent issue.
Suggestion:
Improve defensive AI awareness and positioning logic based on the attacking threat.
Enhance goalkeeper animations and reaction time, especially in 1v1 and long-shot scenarios.
Refine positioning mechanics during set pieces and crosses to make goalkeeping feel more realistic and reliable.
⚠️ General Requests:
Smarter transfer logic: teams that fail to win titles should become more aggressive in the transfer market.
More dynamic player behavior based on form, morale, and stamina.
Deeper media and fan interaction features.
Realistic team chemistry and leadership influence mechanics.

EA Sports FC 25 has strong potential, but the technical issues and AI limitations make it difficult to fully enjoy the experience—particularly in Career Mode. We kindly request the development team to consider these issues in upcoming patches and future updates.
