Any fix for input delay ?
Hey, I have been searching for some time already for a solution, basically whenever I play Rivals or anything online (except Rush), I have a huge delay when pressing buttons, basically my players react after like 100-200ms after I press the button...

My ping is usually around 24...
Locked fps to 60 (when I had my fps unlocked I was at around 120 while playing)...
AMD settings mode is set to performance for FC 25...
1920x1080 resolution, windowed borderless (was happening on fullscreen as well), game set to ultra...

I have tried pretty much everything, I also looked for solutions on the internet, but most of them are basically the same, go into nvidia panel and change this and that (I have AMD gpu so I can't enter nvidia panel), check internet connection, etc.

None of them work, do you guys have any REAL solution for this problem ? It's really frustrating while playing, I had the same problem in FC 24 and I didn't figure it out in the end as well.

Yeah you need to turn off vsync and completely unlock fps. Don't lock them neither in game nor in AMD or Nvidia because that will impact delay. I know it sucks because I'd rather lock my fps so that my PC doesn't make as much noise but it doesn't work here. The best way to measure input lag is when changing player. See how long it takes for the icon to change. You'll probably notice a difference with these settings. Also don't play windowed in case you're thinking about it. Keep in mind the game itself is terribly slow this year so any movement can look like input lag even though you may have no input lag

I don't have any vsync enabled and also as I said, locking or unlocking fps doesn't really change anything, with 60 fps the game is much smoother, but the input lag is there, as well as with unlocked fps so I have it at 60 fps because it's smoother. I also have windowed borderless because of this, while in fullscreen the game doesn't really feel that smooth and the delay is there anyways so...

I can also feel it when chaning players, but the biggest issue is while moving, I can really feel the delay and it's very uncomfortable to play that way.

The thing is that in squad battles or rush, this input lag doesn't happen, the feeling is very responsive in these 2 modes, but when playing Rivals, I can feel that it is not reacting the way I want it to be. In FC 24 the problem was there as well, that is why I didn't really play online, but only squad battles and menu grind with few Rivals matches here and there.

I bought the game in the 5 november sale and i was feeling the same where offline or in rush it worked well. the truth is every single setting ads up. on their own you may not feel a difference but putting them together worked for me. so for me i put full screen, in the third option 120hz, in the fourth option i put no fps limit, in vsync and dynamic resolution I put off, i put full speed in the match cutscenes, i turned off the hair option and i lowered the graphics to medium even though my PC is good. Then there are other factors like connection (despite having no input lag in some matches, there are matches where it's abysmal due to connection with the other player which could be on your side). at the top of my head i can't think of anything else. please try all these settings together just to see if it worked for you and let me know

So after few days I came to a conclusion that it doesn't really help, but I think it really depends on the connection, sometimes I get an opponent against who I have NO input delay at all and sometimes I get an opponent against who it's unbearable to play.

The corner kick and free kick input delay while choosing where to kick the ball with right stick is still there 100% of the time, but I can survive that, the gameplay in general is the problem here.
