Am I missing something? How do you unlock the special kits for objectives?

Like at this moment there are objective saying play in the Nike Mercurial kit... but i dont have the kit and have no idea how to get it either....

Really?!?!? My god I always defended UT from people saying it was buy to win because I could get good squads without buying packs but this seems like another buy-to-win element.... I cant even exp up anymore because it requires you to buy stuff first now???

You don't need the kits to level up. Over the season there are plenty of ways to get exp. I've never spent a penny on the game ( I didn't even buy it, it was gifted to me) and I finished the previous season pass.
I'm currently just before level 9 on the current one. It's super easy to get the SP, just have some patience.

its doable sure, but it taking twice the effort it did the year before is nonsense.
I also dont do the ones forcing me to play modes I have no interest in so that doesnt leave a lot.
