Is funny how you going against NVidia own documentation, I'm surprised they haven't hired you yet, considering you claim to know better than NVidia itself.
You can keep trying to circle around your own ignorance and put words in my mouth, but anyone who has 3rd grade English or higher, will understand how petty you being.
So yes indeed, case closed, so please stop wasting my time.
"Like I said, you can't even understand the different between Ray Casting and Path Tracing"
You mean Ray Tracing and Path tracing? Like I said, Ray Tracing isn't the same as Ray Casting. And now suddenly you come with the term Path tracing?
"Is funny how you going against NVidia own documentation, I'm surprised they haven't hired you yet, considering you claim to know better than NVidia itself."
No, i'm not going against the Nvidia documentation, i'm going against YOU. I literally said that Ray Casting and Ray Tracing isn't the same. There are a few difference between them. And Ray Casting is also a process in a Ray Tracing algorithm. But that doesn't mean they are exactly the same....
And now you come with this kind of nonsense, that I don't know anything. You try to proof that Ray Tracing use multiple rays per pixel by using Ray Casting as proof. Not me, and you you say I don't see the difference? You also never talked about secondary ray's, maybe you are a little bit confused with this?
Don't make this conversation any more complex then it already is. Because we are now going massive of track and becoming to complex to undersand anything. I also said anywhere anything about Ray Casting vs Path Tracing, so no idea where you got this from. All I said that Ray Casting is not the same as Ray Tracing, but yet you use it to back up your claims that Ray Tracing is the same as Path Tracing. Except the "extra" bounces of the rays.
If i'm wasting your time, like you said many times then why do you keep talking? It's also kinda ironic that you keep telling "case closed", "/blocked", "Don't want to talk" but you keep on talking. So, let me then end this conversation.
Path Tracing, DLSS and Ray Reconstruction works on all RTX graphics cards.
Only difference is, the 40xx serie's supports Frame Generation.
DLSS, Ray Reconstruction, Ray Tracing, Path tracing etc. also works on the 20xx and 30xx serie's, except Frame Generation, that's 40xx exclusive.
