For instance to upgrade the 256 and 512 textures in AC III to 1K textures in AC III Remastered it increased the game size from 14.2 GB to 45.2 GB because 1K textures are 4 times the size of 512 and 16 times the size of 256
I mean, they're not claiming it's a remaster. And honestly, would you WANT this game to be taking up more space than it needs to? That same remaster you mentioned also ended up having more bugs than the original, and the characters' faces's shadows were destroyed by the new lighting engine. I'll be one of the few people to say that the less they actually touch of this game, the better it is perhaps. The more you change, the more you can break.
A 1060 CAN max it out, but only at 30fps in 1080p. Which makes it worthless. Action games are terrible at below 60fps.

do not fool yourself rockstar is doing this 100% for the money not because fans asked for it.
the port is gonna be awfull to the brim, mark my words the review are going to be full of delulded disappointed folks.
