when all the rockstar games have the same size update it is usually the launcher, not game related

As everyone else said, Rockstar Launcher. Every time it updates the executable in Rockstar games gets updated as well.

Easy way of telling if you don't have any other rockstar games installed, is going to steamdb, finding the Public Depot and seeing if the changelist affected any other apps.

Whenever this gets updated, it updates all Rockstar games since it contains the RGL content (https://steamdb.info/app/1899670/history/)

launcher updates, and as expected, much like uibisoft and ea, it broke the game. now, me and many others seem to be getting this new "Cannot launch the game. Please try reinstalling the game." i uninstalled, reinstalled, 6 times!@ on 3 different drives! even once on another system! ALL OF THEM, are getting this same error now.

The game no longer plays, and if the track records of many greedy companies like rockstar, capcom, konami, ea, ubisoft, serve us correct, this will not be fixxed anytime soon.
