Is it me or the game isn’t working when it comes to duels?

Used to beat them all the time on the ps3 but it doesn’t work half the time. The gun won’t draw most of the time. Im pressing the firing button and it doesn’t work. Also when it does work the button isn’t even firing button it’s right bumper not trigger. Then the game doesn’t give you enough time to carefully place your crosshair shots in.

Maybe it’s skill issue on my part or maybe not.

Move your arm with the mouse close to the revolver and when you see DRAW press the left mouse button and pump it as many times as needed to mark shooting points on the enemy (aim mostly for the torso and head) and fill your duel meter. Then John shoots.

works fine for me just press l2 when it says DRAW and goes into dead eye and aim for the persons head and spam r2 on it

Spamming might stop working as well once you get to Nuevo Paraiso. The easiest way to win is to draw when prompted, aim for the head, and wait until the crosshair turns white to mark them. You'll fill up more of the meter if you mark them while the crosshair is white.

Well it isn't the fire button to draw for one, it's your aim button, so there's that. You can also move your mouse downward and that'll cause it to draw as well.

Additionally, shooting someones right hand in a duel will instantly win all of them and you get more honor. However there are a few duels where it won't work due to story progression.
