This Rockstar Games account doesn't own Red Dead Redemption

I just got this game and I can't even play it. I click play and Rockstar just tells me that I dont own the game. Does anyone know how to fix this? What an annoying hoop to jump through, I just want to play the game.

I bought the game today and tried reinstalling the Rockstar app, and it still gives me the same code saying I don't own it

Same issue - i bought it at Christmas, and Steam are refusing to refund me because it's outside the 2 week window. I'm just going to keep opening tickets until they give me a refund.
