Mouse pointer? Surround sound?
1,- Just bought RDR1 and it looks like one of those games where the mouse pointer is always on top of the game? Problem with that is that it basically triggers my screensaver during cutscenes... It's incredibly annoying, I only saw this in a handful of games but wasn't expecting it with this....

2.- Playing on a 7.1 surround system, the audio seems completely messed up? Like when talking with NPCs while riding the dialogue is super loud, the a cutscene kicks in and dialogue is super low... Should I play in stereo? I was expecting these things to be fixed on a 2024 port....

Anyone have the same issues?

And that matters why?
Because I have an OLED so have a screensaver after 1 min.
Would be great to actually get some help instead of irrelevant remarks.

If you're using a controller, the mouse cursor stays on screen until you actually move the mouse in-game. Then it'll disappear. As for audio, it seems to be one of the bugs in the port. I personally use headphones, but switching to stereo might help.

Gotcha, it’s a shame cause it keeps triggering my screensaver during cutscenes. Any other game doesnt, meaning the OS doesnt seem to recognize there’s a fullscreen 3D application running
Have you checked the "Constrain mouse pointer" setting, I think it's under Video-settings.
If you set it to off it will hide the mouse pointer.
It doesn't help with the screensaver issue though.
I also have this screensaver issue because it's 2024 and I'm using an OLED monitor.... :steammocking:
