It's a crying shame there's no online
I dearly miss all the multiplayer Undead Nightmare modes where you survived rounds, etc :steamsad:

the audacity of rockstar to finally port this modern classic onto current hardware and to NOT include the objectively best part of the original game is something i will never forgive. my crackpot theory is that they left it out intentionally because they knew the original's oldschool, progression based multiplayer would make gta v's and rdr 2's tedious grindfest of a multiplayer mode look awful by comparison.

Was RDR1 MP really THAT great, talking without those stupid nostalgia and fanboyism?

At least how r A;WAYS had problems wih their internet security.

yeah, it was and still is a great time on the off chance that you can dig out your old console and also somehow find a half full lobby to join. my issue isn't necessarily the fact that new rockstar multiplayer is bad per se; only that the original multiplayer was removed from the new port. as far as security goes, rockstar has already fixed rdr i's multiplayer more than a couple times, and there would've no way that they would've slacked on security for the new ports had they actually taken the time to include the mulitplayer; especially with the hundreds of new players it would've brought in.
Yeah and I figured they wouldn't be doing it on a grand scale because they're all in on RDR2 *which is also dead now* but many would've at least appreciated the online zombie modes that RDR2 didn't have

Honestly I preferred Rdr 1 Multiplayer compared to Red Dead Online. There was no microtransactions, you earned everything based on rank, and the rewards were rather fulfilling.
They didn't include multiplayer because there is no money to be made from it. Simple as that. :bsclown:

There's a mod for Multiplayer that's currently in alpha if you'd like to follow it's progress.

Red Dead Online isn't dead. You can usually find 18-23 players when you join RDO. Stop spreading disinformation.

Sure, it has players, but how many of those players aren't hackers? How many people are doing missions other than free roam? Nothing new comes to the game, not even patches. RDO isn't worth the hassle unless you have a set of friends and go into a private server.
The multiplayer was never good. Too many griefers, not enough fun.
Who remembers the cabin in the woods that spawned infinite cougars in multiplayer?

I have never once encountered a single hacker during my RDO career. This problem is not nearly as bad as people say.

Honestly, I doubt that, but if so that's good. For me, however, I would find them all the time. The problem is definitely there, and it's just as bad as people say. I guess you're just one of the lucky ones, or perhaps a hacker trying to encourage people to play Lol.

So you jump to accusations and call me a hacker? Wow.
I have never hacked in ANY game IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, and there';s virtually no way to install hacks without somehow downloading Opera GX or getting malware.
