For the <insert Number here> time ; they had to pay a developer to port it over and they are still bound by licensing fees for software and Voice Actors. In addition Steam gets a cut and they are a public company so they need profit to show the shareholders.

It's $50 because they have to pay for licenses, they have to pay the people who did the port and so on and in the end of the day it's a job, they literally put out games to make money. I know common sense is hard to come by but try to find some. If they don't make at least some money on it then they won't bother with ports in the future. I'm glad they brought it to pc, and 50-100 hours of enjoyment is EASILY worth $50. That's great value when it comes to a hobby. I paid like $15 for The Witcher 3, if they remade it I'd gladly pay $60 because it's such a great game and I want to support them. It's miserable whiny worms like you that ruin it for others.

Yeah right cause for you a current AAA game like Stalker 2 for example that cost 60E at launch build from scratch with big budget and tons more devs is the same thing like an already made game from 2010 with a minimal port and a 50 euro price.

Bet some of these fools also paid full price for those awful gta classic remasters that are mobile ports btw they could have done it a a lot better for pc.

Excuse me if i don’t buy sh*t just because it’s rockstar red dead 2 is better I just wanted to get rd1 as well but I can wait until it drops and it will at some point the price isn’t justified even on sale they don’t even have multiplayer like it did on console lazy bastards i would totally buy it right now if it did. Red dead 1 on pc is a joke.

I’d rather buy something new like space marine 2 at least I don’t need to sign in into social club to play to play a singleplayer game.

What I find very funny is that some are happy to support and defend Rockstar no matter what and in return they get treated like second class citizens everytime when it comes to PC.

I am very happy and thankful to have a good port of RDR that works just how I remember. That is what I wanted. I am pretty sure it took some fast talking on someone's part to convince the bean pushers to Greenlight the project. Then to find a dev to port the game over and to have it work. That is what I am Thankful for.
