Hunting and selling issue:

I'm not sure why but this has happened a few times now, i'll go hunting ill kill 6 wolves 5 coyote, 3 cougars, 2 buck, skin 2 horses sometimes a couple rabbits. Then ill go to the general store and ill only be able to sell 3 cougar skins and 3 cougar meat for example. Is there a reason hunting goods are disappearing from my inventory? I never had this issue before on the Xbox original version this just seems to be happening on this new remastered pc version. I'll see the items going into my inventory after skinning them but by the time i get to the store they are gone.
