I don't get the hate of RDR on the price or lack of multiplayer.
Converting a game is not free, this is not just a rerelease of an 14 yo version, a lot of people has put a lot of time into making this work. I just home they learned from the GTA Triology issues, and don't repeat the same mistakes.
I don't think you fully grasp the effort involved in creating a port, especially when transitioning from PowerPC-based systems to ARM and x86 architectures. On top of that, they also had to remaster parts of the game while moving from a closed platform environment to an open Windows environment.
There’s much more to it than just running the textures through AI and recompiling the game. Supporting x86 platforms and ensuring compatibility with a wide range of hardware requires a significant amount of work and testing.
Additionally, one of the most challenging aspects is moving from proprietary graphics solutions to DX12 (and/or Vulkan). This is not a trivial matter and likely requires changes to core elements of the game engine. Time will tell how well they executed this transition, but I believe they learned from the issues with the GTA Trilogy.
Considering the work that went into this, I feel the $50 price is justified.
Let's all enjoy the theme of the game one more time!

People love to sh!t on others fun, simple as that, it's low hanging fruit. These types of people crawl out of the woodwork when something new comes out, like clockwork.
They have nothing better to do than to try and make you as miserable as they already are with faux attention seeking outrage.
