The port is to be honnest pretty good, I have a decent config and it runs nicely on ultra setting 4k (well it's a 2010 game obviously) I can understand people being mad for the price and he has a point. Saying someone is poor only because he refuses to pay so much a 14 years old game is the most pathetic argument I have ever read before.

Putting it on a credit card doesn't mean you have money, it means you're an idiot.

I purchased this with my bank card, not a credit card. You really jump a gun like that. You must be a povo also.

Doesn't seem that lazy. A lazy port would be on Xbox One/Series, where it's just emulating the original Xbox 360 game at 30fps (but hey, 4K I guess). This version has high framerate support, keyboard/mouse support (with full and detailed remapping and up to 2 keys per action), different ingame aspect ratio support, faster load times, and the Undead Nightmare expansion included in the same executable.

Pricing is a valid concern, but calling the port "lazy" is just willfully ignorant.

...And after typing this all out, i saw the word "woke" in the OP. Why do I come here. ♥♥♥♥ you.
90% of that comes from being on PC, charging $50 for a barebones PC port of an ancient game with features removed and the absolute bare minimum in regards to PC features is still ridiculous.
Lmao porting to PC doesn't magically make the game engine work at higher framerates, or the rendering engine work at higher resolutions, or input devices that weren't previously intended (KB/M) work. Seriously, if all devs had a "port to every device NOW" button just lying around you wouldn't get exclusives stuck on old consoles. Look at a game like Okami HD, which is still stuck to 30fps. Look at older PC games like the GTA Trilogy (not the remastered ones), which break if played at over 60fps and have cheat codes that randomly activate when playing with a keyboard. You're not giving enough credit for how difficult a port job like this is.

Not that I expect a Steam Discussion forum user to understand any of this.

That's reductive. The Xbox version requires a subscription to play the multiplayer, even on LAN or in a private session.

No, it is just you, this is one of the best SPs ever made

And the xbox itself, controller, and the skills to use it?

What about tv?

I know how that works, but bringing the game up to the bare minimum standards for a PC port in 2024 is not worth $50 anywhere, this game costs pennies on the original platforms with more features.

Lazy port? They rebuilt the game ground up to be able to go onto modern systems.

"More features", being a hacked multiplayer?
