it doesn't seem very healthy in the long run, may be a good idea to not concern yourself with what other people feel about the game and be content that you did not buy a game that you dislike, it would be more fruitful to search for a game you personally enjoy and get your money's worth out of
I enjoy gaming, i played thousands of games in my life, way more than average "gamer"
So i hate to see ppl support things that harm the industry & game preservation
I get that, and I hear you, but the multiplayer is equally as addictive and fun as the single player. I love both modes for RDR1, but will just continue to play on Xbox Series X where both modes are still available.
Its not though, the multiplayer is pretty massive and significant. There is a lot of content there that is just gone now unless you want to play on Xbox.
but video games are not tangible things, they do not meaningfully affect the world at large and do not deserve extreme or passionate concern on the same level as the lives we live, while it is generally depressing to see people make foolish financial choices on those games, it should be recognized that our anger is unwarranted because in our eyes the other person is just text on a screen and nothing more
while the mainstream markets seem full of shills and slop, it simply takes knowing where to look or finding a solid niche to find enjoyable games independent from shady publishers and studios
