Is dualsense not useable ?
I get input but no ps prompts !

It released on PS4 and 14 years ago on PS3.
Why has support for ps controllers been removed.

After waiting for over a decade for this, i am supposed to wait for mods which is not a guarantee ?

I'll give it a few days at most and if there is no solution i guess i'll refund it as well as RDR2.

Just buy a licensed wired Xbox 360 controller for 30$ like I did. Anyways we all know the Xbox 360 controller is the best controller.

Yep. Go to any local game store and you should find a ton of them for cheap. They work great for pc games with console style control mechanics and I use it for driving and flight games too. Not as good as a dedicated steering wheel or flight stick but still orders of magnitude better than m/kb.

But seriously just get a 360 controller its nearly always natively supported and is just as good a controller for pc games as anything else.

I mean it’s not hard to learn the buttons, print out a picture of the Xbox button layout and have it on hand. Took me about a day or to to figure it out. I play with a PlayStation pad too.

I played through the whole game on my Dualsense without issue, didn't need to modify anything. This version is a port of the 360 version of the game from what I understand, albeit with improvements to view distance, lighting effects, and AA.

I've always used a ps controller since PS1, i can't unleard two decades of how to play games.
I do not like asym, it's not for me and would be problematic as it is very uncomfortable.
Add to that losing all input reflex and pleasure of playing with a controller for certain types of games including my favorite genre of game.
The mods helped but last i checked ps controllers were not supported and modders did that instead of the devs.

There also is no valid reason to remove that option on the devs' end.
