Are you really going to play the single player multiple times ?? Undead nightmare sure but standard rdr1 single player ?? I honestly think this game has no replay value due to multiplayer not being added. I can’t imagine someone beating the single player and then beating undead nightmare single player and saying hell yeah ima play em again ! Multiplayer was incredibly fun / addicting and was what made a lot of players keep playing it for years, free for all Mexican standoffs, tdm, money bags , free roam , undead nightmare horde mode. But with all those gone 100% the amount of people who will drop this game after there done with both campagins will be massive 😂

I like the idea of binge playing RDR1 straight after RDR2. It's good to finally have an official PC version of the game.

What I’m saying is red dead 1 HAD multiplayer it HAD replay value it wasn’t just single player

idk man, I've replayed it at least once a year since it was released, and never really cared for the multiplayer. I just like the vibe of the game and riding around with John. I think I'm good to replay it for a few more years too.

I replay this game yearly especially the Undead Nightmares. Never played the multiplayer, have no interest in that.

This is one of my all time favorite games. SIngle player games can be replayed if they have a good story and are fun. I don't only play a game once and be done with it if it is a good game.

Replay value has nothing to do with multiplayer, it means that a singleplayer mode has enough variety, content or challenge to be enjoyed multiple times, whether RDR has these qualities depends on the person. Personally I love this game, when I had my Xbox I played through it every 2 years or so. Couldn't get much access to multiplayer even then as the servers were always hacked to ♥♥♥♥ and Rockstar never cared about fixing it.
Also there is a Hardcore mode for more challenge, likely the way I will be playing it this time, also there will be mods, how knows what the community will be capable of later down the line, unless Rockstar decides to be a ♥♥♥♥ again to modders for no apparent reason

Multiplayer would have been nice to have, but even with crossplay I don't think there would be enough numbers that would play it. This isn't 2010 and the new hotness. Makes sense that Rockstar would nix it.

If this ain't a rage bait then this is just pure stupid. Ain't even worth explainin no more to those who don't understand that is not about the price, how old the game is, replayability or not. If a game is good then people are going to buy it no matter what. If gaming is your hobby don't complain about prices and if you are complaining about why others are buying it you are just mad cause they are doing what they love. If you don't want the game just because is pricey which I would pay even 60$ then maybe you should I get another hobby or stop whining in a post

Red Dead Redemption is just one of those games ya wanna return to just to soak up the scenery and vibe. Get drunk at the saloon and walk around like a physics-y mess.
