We are getting 2 games in 1. it is worth the 50$.

We are getting 2 games in 1 for the price of 50$ the base game has a lot of content and is very fun to play, and then you have Undead Nightmare expansion which is another 15 hours of content and is practically another game (Thats why it was sold as a standalone as well).

Plus we are getting all the content from the GOTY edition like explosive rifle, (Tomahawk, golden guns, Solomons Folly gang hideout , etc) and includes a lot of bug fixes that we don't see in the original versions like the headless zombie bug which has been fixed, crafting in Undead Nightmare has been fixed as well cause in the original crafting took no resources which broke the balancing etc.

No content has been cut from the single player it has remained intact (unlike the gta games where songs are cut like in VC.)

The PC version is graphically superior to consoles, better shadows, better draw distance, 144fps, HDR, KB + Mouse ( this game was made for it) and other graphic options that we havent seen yet.

Modding

Complaining about MP is just an excuse to hate on why its 50$ which is a perfect price as you are getting the complete SP offering. I don't see anyone complaining why GTA 4 PC port doesn't have MP yet for RDR they are.

undead nightmare has enough content to be another game new weapons, story, horses, diff gameplay loop, soundtrack etc.

Undead Nightmare was a 20 dollars DLC back in the day while the main game was still 60.

It has only a fraction of the content of the main game. It's a much smaller, clearly DLC type of story. Not a full game at all.

It feels like exactly what it is.. an extra.

RDR all by itself worth the 50 bucks just fine. You don't need to try to market it as 2 games. The poor here can't afford it either way.

Especially on Xbox360, you had to buy Microsoft Points etc... it was a time that buying digital stuff wasn't as simple as it is now. They were never marketed as full games. it doesnt matter how they word it, the ammount of content in it and how different it plays to the basegame is enough to make it its own game. its like dying light the Beast which was supposed to be in DL2 but they made it its own game.
