Cant Start New Game

I was curious if anyone had a similar issue or a fix for this issue.

I recently was gifted this game and been trying to start a new game in the main story. Once I select my difficulty and confirm I do or do not want to create a new save file I'm met with the following error code: ERROR TRY TO SAVE RDR2SAVED.SAV.

What's odd is if I go to launch Undead Nightmare, that loads and starts up just fine.

Solutions I've attempted:
-> Verifying the game files.
-> Uninstalling the game.
-> Restarting Computer
-> Firewall permissions.

Seems I found a fix.. if albeit temporary(?). Loading the game up in admin mode seems to fix the issue and lets the base game load and start up properly.

I would check your protected files alerts in your AV. It sounds like you haven't given it permission to either Documents or Appdata. If your games are installed to Programfiles that may be another obstacle as its also a protected folder.

Edit; Real Quick, do you currently have Red Dead 2 installed?

I'll give those a double check and see where exactly the game installed.

And no I don't. I only have it on console which I thought was weird.
