Deadalus and Son Bug

I have over 40 of every feather possible, 30 of red and desert sage, and 20 beaver furs and yet I cannot turn them into the man and finish the quest

I never had this problem. I had feathers when I first met the man, then I went back to collect red sage. West Elizabeth was still closed so I couldn't obtain beaver furs. As soon as I got myself there I hunted for some beavers, and got back to the man to finish the quest.

If you looted the furs and the feathers before you picked up the quest you still have to get the right amount because the quest won’t count the ones you already had in your satchel before picking up the quest.

I sold off everything in my provisions and started from scratch, still got more than required and he won't take it. The quest is just bugged unfortunately. I completed it back when I owned the game on PS3, but I guess i'll just have to cheat it this time

Me and many others finished the side mission successfully, so either your files are busted, or you made a mistake. Its not "bugged"...

whoa you mean bugs aren't necessarily universal for every game instance? crazy...

Yeah crazy that you then even open a topic if "everything is possible at any time"... Why bother if the game could spawn 20 bears on you any moment?

Funnily enough after picking flowers and going to a vendor, the red sage doesn't appear in the sell tab but the others do. Maybe it's not detecting it in my inventory

Exactly the same bug, tried re-picking, letting the guy die, no idea what to do next.

If you've used a trainer to give items that might be why, check how many of the requested items you have, then go to a store to sell them, if they don't appear the items are bugged in your inventory and you need a save before you used a trainer.

I don't know about bears but just down the road from the Mcfarlane Ranch they kept spawning wolves on me, I would kill 4 loot 2 and four more would pop up, that went on for a while. I think when it quit, I had 30 skins and about 25 Hearts.
