Undead Nightmare. Story missions are not showing up

So I finished the mission in Mexico where you have to bring some undead to the nun and then clear some cemetery. Finished almost all side missions. It just won't let me proceed. I didn't do that most annoying side mission in the history of gaming called "Filth and Other Entertainment". Do I really have to spend 5 hours looking for that specific zombie to do this side ("optional") mission so I can proceed with the story?

you gotta do the stranger missions they are not optional. as issiah said you can find a spitter just north of tumbleweed or literally anywhere in mexico those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are everywhere

rdr isnt as clear as rdr2, I looked through journal to see what i had to do and under "surivors" I think are the missions you are currently on and need to complete to progress. I hadn't picked any of the herbs for West Dickens because its boring and im interested in the storyline more but you have to, to progress.

Ngl as a kid i didn't know or understand how to do his mission so I never found out how the game ended, that you can get to Mexico etc. It wasn't until I was like 10 when I went on YouTube to find out what you needed to do.
