How to Duel?

I've YouTube, looked online etc but still not getting the hang of duelling :( Can't seem to fill up my blue bar. Using a Xbox Controller :) Any help will be much appreciated

Only place your shots when your mark turn in to a little point that turns white. Then you will fill up the bar easily

pretty simple for me....right click when it makes it obvious to do so...aim up at enemy and left click multiple times on enemy until John shoots multiple times quickly...kind of like deadeye how it works...marking where the shots go on the enemy...after making multiple marks John shoots

way too easy but i am playing on normal difficulty....i don't know if duels are more difficult on hard

Thanks both I've got the hang of it .. trying to do the quest Lights, Camera, Action but now I keep killing outright and he needs to be kept alive lol

I have just started playing the game and it won't let me place markers when in deadeye, idk whats wrong :(

The Red Bar is for your opponent and the Blue Bar is your bar. What you need to do is fill your bar faster than your enemy does by pressing shoot button repeatedly at the aimed location.
