There's a multiplayer mod for GTA4 on PC specifically for RP Servers. It is called HappinessMP it is really simple to work. Hopefully we can get something akin to it for RDR1.

I hope so as RDR1's multiplayer was by far the best MP experience Rockstar ever made

We need someone who knows how to netcode, and establish a menu like a launcher.

The Easiest Solution I see is looking into the Xbox 360 or PS3 Files of RDR1 for the Netcoding considering the Multiplayer is still up despite the low population.

There's some people in the RDR community already working on a multiplayer mod for Red Dead Redemption. Of course this could take a long time. Here's to hoping!
