When creating a waypoint, changing a waypoint, or when scrolling through the various menus and sub menus, there is supposed to be a revolvers clicking sound, but the clicking sound is most of the time non existent and or randomly disappears. I’m using a Xbox 360 controller BTW, not sure if that matters but I figured I would say it in case it has something to do with it (it never happened on Xbox 360 version though).
Sometimes, when doing mini quests like catching a robber who stole from a store, or when you do the night watch quests with a dog, you can accidentally run into a golden X marker that starts a main story line quest. I’m pretty sure those golden X are supposed to disappear while doing the mini quests and then pop back up after completion or failure of the mini quest. I could be wrong about this, but it might be a bug.
When going through the item inventory, while using a Xbox 360 controller, instead of moving from one slot to the next it jumps all over the place and it’s hard to highlight the item you want to use with the stick and have to slowly use the d pad instead.

(struggle to reach 60fps with r5 3600x/rtx 3060 in the city at max settings here)
This may or may not cause you to unintentionally kill a person if the bottom of the hill is water or some other hazard. I reckon some bugs might also be holdover bugs from the 360 version, since even the original game had bugs that were never fixed (NPCs standing on top of chairs would be one of them).
Audio breaking and stuttering cracking in cut scenes and action scenes ‘ on steamdeck lcd .
Killing the game . Needs a patch as soon as possible .
Tried all mentioned remedy’s ie restarting the game and locking to 30fps etc ‘ still awful audio .
Digital Foundry found issues with shadows in cutscenes.
1. The xbox controller connected via bluetooth causes the game to lock the frame rate limit to about 65 fps and the game generally works less stably, this problem does not occur when I connect the xbox controller via USB or turn on Steam Input. the problem only appears via bluetooth, I checked it on two different computers and the problem is the same
2. In the key assignment settings you can't set the mouse buttons, more precisely Mouse 4 and Mouse 5
3. Sometimes when I open the ESC menu and go through the settings you can't hear the sounds of navigation through the menu or on the map, sometimes it happens, I don't know what's the reason
4. Deadeye audio Bug : when you shoot multiple times after marking a target on Deadeye level 2 or 3, the sound of shot sometimes becomes quiet or generally bugged like example from mouser pistol or high power pistol.
Also I have ideas to to improve the PC version :
- It would be nice if devs add a slider for the aiming sensitivity when aiming with a sniper rifle and binoculars, because aiming with a sniper rifle seems to be much too fast while aiming with other weapons is really well done and I wouldn't want to change the mouse sensitivity in them
- It would be useful to have an option to use the BACKSPACE button instead of ESC or to use both in the menu etc., because pressing ESC several times is not always convenient for a quick return
- I wanted to be able to ride a horse by quickly clicking the "W" button and move forward at the same time, but it's not possible because then the game writes me that I replace another action, it would be useful to be able to set both actions at once
- Also if would be nice if devs add an option to be able to run while crouching ? On the controller it is possible while on the keyboard and mouse there is no such option and there is no option to move slower like on the controller while aiming, it would be really great if it was possible to add such options in the controls, e.g. for holding ALT or mouse 4 or 5 to move slower
Also I found a somthing on PC that is different from the original game but I don't know if it's possible to fix, it's mainly about the wind physics compared to the original xbox version, various elements like blankets in Escarela or American flags and other objects that react to the wind don't react to the wind as impressively on PC compared to the xbox version. Clothes also don't react like in the xbox version like mexican poncho, Duster coat and Legend of the West outfit. Maybe it's not possible to fix, and after changed refresh rate to 30fps not fixing anything, physics are the same. I know RDR uses a dynamic weather system etc.
