Audio Mix Sucks?

I never played this game on xbox or wherever it came from, but everything sounds tinny, as if lacking any midrange. I try headphone mode on AND off, I can tell no difference. Is this true, does this game just have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sound mix?

Same problem here. Even with a decent headphone and DAC with EQ it sounds horrible

By the way, I had not experienced any audio issues. Playing on a home theatre, 7.1

You are correct. I tried out various weapons, horse galloping, anything that has weight, on my PS3, then I tried it out on this PC version. PC version is totally lacking depth in sounds, weapons especially sound totally off and do not have any of the oomph found on the console versions sound. Not sure why this is or how to fix it, headphones option doesn't seem to make any change either.
