They really dropped the ball with the pc iteration of that game. No graphical options to edit. Locked at 60 fps. Not even an ini file to up the graphics on like in other ue 3 games. Only option is the nvidia control panel. That being said I got it because it's got Steve Blum with a Hispanic accent, lots and lots and lots of 🍆 jokes, plus Shinji Mikami (the GOAT behind resident evil 4) contributed to the game.
Exactly
I have very little disposable income right now, and haven't for most of this year. With that being said , I'm still buying the game for full price next week.
I know its an excellent game, I recently put over 450 hours into RDR2, and I know I'll thoroughly enjoy playing RDR 1 again without the input lag and horribly low res/fps of the console versions.
I have emulators and tried them out, but I find them inconsistent/unreliable in general. I want to play knowing that I wont encounter un-fixable game breaking bugs or save issues.
Is £40 overpriced for the age of the game - imo debatable, leaning towards yes. Is it worth the cost to play such an awesome game on a stable platform, with higher res, fps , mod potential etc? Definitely.
Rockstar are greedy no doubt (looking at you GTAO+ and shark cards) but none the less, not gonna deprive myself of a good experience just to spite RS.
Very based argument. Thank you.
Exemplary humans? Thanks for laugh 😃. Good thing I wasn't drinking water when I read that otherwise I'd have done a spit take
I dont personally think the existence of emulators is a valid point. People go on about them so much, I finally caved and tried a few earlier this year. Imo , not worth the effort.
Sure you can play games otherwise unavailable, but for me at least, even with the leading emulators and way above recommended hardware; not only was performance poor/inconsistent, but numerous games I played had major bugs/ other issues that were either unfixable, or required complicated work arounds.
I'd rather just pay the money and have a working game.... couldn't personally be smug about emulating a game when the experience is that poor.
more like living at moms class like you guys
Yes you being a clown is the truth indeed.
