If Rockstar wont add current gen effects to their rerelease; I guess I will.

Available soon for members of my Patreon. Just testing and getting everything perfect. Trying to exclude the games native shaders from interfering which is a trial and error process of going through hundreds of pixel/vertex shaders - however selecting/previewing causes the game to throw an error and freeze/crash. I think R* has made modifications purposefully difficult. Honestly had to end task and restart over again 50 times now but making good progress. I may have to resort to static UI mask for version 1 (I usually like to do things dynamically).

All my presets and mod packs are carefully tailored to their respective games so you can be sure of a professional result and good experience with my packs.

I will update this post with my progress and aim to release in the next 24 hours.

Looks nice! Is it an actual mod or a reshade preset?
Reshade

Charging people for reshade presets is crazy. About as greedy as rockstar. The people who wrote reshade itself don't even charge for the mod.

I spend many hours on each of my presets and packs (which also include modded game files, updates for DLSS etc., conversion of API's eg. DX9 to DX11 and anything else I can do to enhance a game.) I go way beyond slapping a few shaders in, leaving them default and saying 'pay me'. Each individual game I make a preset for is carefully tailored to that project and wouldn't likely even work if you were to copy those files to use on another game.

Again, I configure the games own shaders (all games have them I'm not talking about reshade shaders here) to exclude them interfering with the reshade shaders (UI's for example). I thoroughly test compatibility and look for bugs and then everything is packaged professionally with 'extract and play' installs, hotkeys, seamless transitions etc. I configure even the most difficult depth buffers (some people claim that a game doesn't even have for example or emulators), ensure they work for DLSS, all aspect ratios, hardware and with no extra setup or configuring for my end users.

See how long it would take you to configure a depth buffer correctly for Silent Hill 3 or Dead Rising 2 with compatibility for DX11 for example and then get back to me. Heck try get it to work properly with PCSX2 at all.

Most modders can't sell things due to using intellectual property, basing their stuff on an IP or perhaps it is something small or too simple to sell. I pay for various mods/shaders etc. if the product is good enough and those independent devs and modders derserve it for their time.

So yes, if you think me charging $5 for access to literally all of my available presets and other benefits coming for my Patreon is 'greedy' then whatever. That's your opinion but I think that's entitled.

You could make it a legit business, register as a Business and charge customers, instead of charging for donation subscriptions. That would be the right way to do it.

Nobody forces you or asks you to make Mods for anything. The same way everyone is free to donate to you, everyone else is allowed to call you out .

Call me out for what? Making presets as an incentive for my Patreon members? If you think that is greedy that is fine I'm not saying you aren't allowed an opinion. My opinion is that is rather entitled. Me actually selling individual files in the way you said would be more 'unethical' (which this really isn't). Much less cost effective for users too. I'm not selling Reshade.

Reshade is free you can make your own or do it yourself if you wish.

Most graphic enhancements use Reshade. Other mods edit game files changing some text in notepad from 'shadowres 2048' to 'shadowres 4096' or whatever and get classed as 'mods'. Usually my packs consist of both.

To say it is 'just reshade' is an over simplification. As if there are no third party shaders, add-ons or configuration that needs to be done for the desired result. I also never package commercial shaders (eg completeRT) with my packs and any other mods I refer too are fully credited.

I aim to have 100s of presets available all in one place, so for $5 (which you can cancel anytime) I will literally save people hundreds of hours doing it themselves, if they are even able to at all (some games are very difficult).

Most "third party shaders" are totally free, apart from those useless "Raytracing" shaders which are not worth it anyway, poor visual/performance ratio.

Please tell us, which third party shaders are you selling us that were written for this game that hasn't even been out for 24h for?
Nah, I am not paying for a reshade. Bye
lemme turn off DoF and lens flare and you got yourself a deal

DOF is fully toggleable with a hotkey in my preset (you might be surprised at how well I've implemented it though). I think you may be referring to the games own lens flare so maybe in the settings. Everything in this preset will be customisable.

I'm no longer replying as it seems you are just here wasting time for arguments sake. You can see how 'poor' this raytracing shader is in my video (it's actually very new and very good).
Reshade settings are free on Nexus Mods don’t waste your money on paid versions! You can easily download Reshade for FREEEEEEEEE and customize the settings yourself; it only takes a few minutes. Keep your money and skip these paid reshades scams!

I specifically stated I never package commercial shaders previously. It states on my patreon/videos/posts that x shader is required for my presents and I also provide an included GI only preset with my releases for those who do not own it.

'I also never package commercial shaders (eg completeRT) with my packs and any other mods I refer too are fully credited.'

I provide more than just slapping a shader in - I provide variety of styles/configs with hotkeys and multiple shaders per package to make a set that suits the individual game.

You're an idiot. Get a life.

Fine. Whatever. I made a preset that has color correction, Gloom Ambient occlusion, sharpening, tint removal etc etc. all for free, that looks mighty similar to your screen shot. Calling reshade sharpening "texture enhancement" is downright dishonest and misleading.

People , there is NO need to pay for this. Download Reshade, download all the effect packages and take an hour to build your own preset. It's really easy with the Reshade UI. Configure to your hearts content.

These Reshade "mods" which claim to include Raytracing are just pale, in-frame buffer facsimiles of actual raytracing, and they often introduce tons of visual artifacts like bleeding through alpha effects. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
