I understand, that the game has a romance option (something like the option in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel).

Some of the foundations were laid in Kai no Kiseki. There's a possibility that we'll probably see something like that in Kai 2, but Kondo said he wasn't sure about it because he said they'd rather leave it up to the players rather than giving Van a choice in canon romance.
