AOME Not Opening On Windows 10

Please, help me here... I upgraded to windows 10 and Steam runs perfectly normal but the game won't launch. It says last time I played was today but really I just click play and nothing opens. It gives me the message that the game is loading but nothing happens afterwards.

I just opened ... but not in full screen. the problem is that in full screen does not open! do not know how to fix it

I tried to open it yesterday and it worked fine. I think Microsoft latest update fixed it, along with fixing other issues I had with other software. Maybe try and install it again?? Not sure.

wouldn't start for me i tried all the fixes but none of them worked,the fix for me was to go to "Steam\SteamApps\common\Age of Mythology\Aomx" right click the properties /compatibility,tick run in 640x480 then started the game,went to settings,selected restore to defaults,closed the game,then went back to Aomx and unticked the run in 640x480,when i started the game again i went to settings and set my resolution to my displays.

Windows 10 is not made to play this game you are going to just wait till the the developers see this problem and get off their lazy bums and do something about it and update this game.

Go to SteamApps\common\Age of Mythology\Users. Open the active profile with a text editor then change <windowmode>0</windowmode> to <windowmode>1</windowmode>

You have no idea how long I've been trying to find a solution to my AoM:EE problem!
I had basically the same problem as the majority of people out there (black screen with a cursor/"has stopped working") and every solution I found did not work.
