What windows version do you have?
1. Go to Steam Library.
2. Right-click on Killing Floor 2.
3. Select Properties.
4. Go to Local Files tab.
5. Click the button "Verify Integrity of Game Cache...". This should take 10-15 minutes.
6. Try playing the game now.
1. Microsoft C++ Redists didn't install properly:
2. Go to your control panel for add/remove programs.
3. Uninstall all versions of 2010 Microsoft C++ Redistribs.
4. Uninstall all versions of 2012 Microsoft C++ Redistribs.
5. Uninstall all versions of 2015 Microsoft C++ Redistribs.
6. Navigate to: \Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor2\_CommonRedist\vcredist
7. In the 2010 folder, install both the x86 and x64 versions by right-click run as admin.
8. In the 2012 folder, install both the x86 and x64 versions by right-click run as admin.
9. In the 2015 folder, install both the x86 and x64 versions by right-click run as admin.
10. Try playing the game now.
I've done both :( Steam wouldn't give me a refund so I'm stuck with the game
you can always buy a hard disk if thst doesnt work. there are pretty cheap.
