Titan difficulty

Hello guys,

So anyone has a good strategy for winning the single player Vs titan diff CPU(s)?

I guess the main problem is not being able to repel its armies from the time it reaches classical age and starts sending them bigger and tougher everytime.
When I get to a point where we are both completely advanced, I manage with some military strategies to defeat it, but I just have to get there.

So, which god is the best for rushing and creating quickly a decent defence?
What tecnologies and mil. units should I choose?

Also, what map is the easiest/toughest for this difficulty?

Just getting back into the game now, but with the original AoM I could win about 90% of the time versus 1 Titan AI, about 25% of the time vs 2, but not if I set one of them to Aggressive. Rushing a Titan is very difficult because they usually go up very quickly and have more units waiting than you can send. Walling up and defending until you can get enough units was my strategy with all Civs I used. I preferred the Jotunheim map for walls.

I used to always play siungle player games on Titan against all the computer opponents, but made sure they were all on different teams, for some reason this new version it seems far easier to win a game, or maybe my skills have improved :) The computer usually attacks very soon, and seems to advance extremely quickly through the ages.

So is it true that the game is more difficult now?! I too, remember being able to win titan diff sometimes but now it seems impossible.

Any more precise strategies and tactics would be appreciated.

I think the difficulity is the same, but maybe we're a little out of practice :)

All Titan difficulty is a Hard difficulty AI with a 100% (double) extra resoucre gething rate. So practice first on Hard so you understand the AI and when it comes the Titan difficulty be prepared to face the same attacks types of attacks of a Hard AI however they will happen with twice the amount of units and occur in half the normal time. simple.

Just understand that Titan is a Hard payler with way more resouces then you, so dont try compete with it on that level. You have to carefully combat them through the use of unit types and by raiding their ecomony and not allowing them to recover.
