Garrisons
What do they do beside protecting units? I remember that in AOE 2 your towers,castles and town centers fire more arrows, here they dont seem to.

Ships garrisoned in docks make it shoot arrows at nearby enemy naval units.

In other cases, they do increase the attack - the numbers will turn yellow to show this.

Thanks for the info, is this only with archers and villagers or with infantry/cavalry as well?

Units garrisonned into forts/TCs increase attack. Garrisons can be used to dodge a volley of arrows, or to save a unit that is being focus fired.

Can't garrison mounted units.
