Why is Kronos a monster?
Literally every historical artistic depiction of him is an old man with white hair and beard, usually carrying a scythe. Same deal with Prometheus too (though strangely his minor god portrait is correct, despite his in-game model being a green monster).

Modern designs of Kronos do tend to make him look like a shadow edge lord. Titan Prometheus is not green. Prometheus's Titan model makes him a clay monster, which is a very interesting design choice as he is the god that creates man with clay and fire.

The idea is that the Titans became disfigured after being banished to Tartarus, I believe.

I believe just to cause a visual impact and define very well he's the most evil enemy in the campaign. Other reasons might be that he ate all of his children but Zeus and he rescued all of his siblings not to mention that Kronos also merciless castrated his father Uranus.
He was kinda savage and violent titan unline next Olympic generation of gods that behaved and seemed more human like.

Its just a design choice, so you can see who is evil
