Editor tricks for a dummy (like me)

Hi guys

Sorry for bothering with my stupid questions.

So, im getting into the editor and its use since i was always interested to learn how to make epic builds and sceneries. Unfortunately, i lack the knowlage that could elevate my skills and creativity.

I would like to get answer to...

1. How to rotate buildings in the editor? Im aware of the basic mouse roll kind, easy lol. However, things like getting a building upside down is currently a mistery for me

2. How do you put buildings on each other (tower like formation)? I saw this in a few scenarios and i have no idea how it gets together. Yes, using a hidden mountain is fair but doesnt always work, especially with thin objects. Another mistery...

I would be very thankful if you guys could help me out. I looked around on the Heavens forums, what Google could offer for the day, but the progress didnt go any further.

UPDATE

I checked a few things after i posted this

1. I found out the rotation mechanism by accident. Maybe i should pay attention more to tips from now on (its CTRL+arrow key (any))

2. Im not so sure its truly possible to make elevated buildings without mods (as the collage below pointed out). Also I checked an old, but amazing mod, THE LOST LEGION in the editor. I was so sure he's builts were modded. Turns out, he used clifs, mountains, any higher surfice as support...its perfectly fine, Oscars work is flawless and very inspiring. It just really surprised me. But fine with the result

I don't think you can do this without mods. I use advanced editorV2. But for the second question, I don't think I really understand what you want.

I looked at the map and there's a lot of things we can't normally do (lot of specials triggers), so, I don't know wich one was it, but he used a mod for this

You can create the illusion of one building on top of another. - all without mods. Use the camera-within-a-hill trick. See my videos for several examples.
