Game Speed Adjustment and Larger Map Sizes (Request)

Hi,

Quite liking the game (+Tale) at the moment and at a very nice price, too. Have persuaded another so co-op it will be.

What we two are wondering though...is there any chance of:
1) Setting Game Speed (within gameplay, ideally). Usually, we start RTS out on medium, then go to (very) slow, then speed up near the 'end'. I see a lot of peeps have tried to get this added even a duzen years ago or more. And yes I know about the <phrase with internet; not saying> code but...I really am thinking a game of this class and history should allow speed decrease; it is so fundamental to learning the game. Currently when solo I always feel I have to be 5 places and it's just not a fun game experience.
2) Another oddity seems to be the rather minimal 'Giant' map size? I read something about editor maps having little limit (still causing lag?) but...I for one would *really* like a Huge and larger ('Real World' or whichever) size, because right now even putting the AI on 'Protector' or 'Defender' still makes me get run over, at 3 spots at a time, when I really just want to quietly learn and find a few City Centers and all that good stuff. And that's just with 4 players on 'Giant'.

These two omissions make me not like the game much, or rather, make it 'work' rather than 'fun' to get the hang. Not the best way to reach new people? Retention, after all! :)

Anyway, pretty strong title, I hope you will add those. Am I alone?

Hey, I know I'm a few years late, and I'm not sure you or anyone will even see this.
But I just posted a question about how to get the gameplay speed faster.
It kinda annoys me that the game speed is so slow, and I wish there was a way to fix this say, in the settings, rather than to do the cheat code in-game.
I'm hoping that maybe someone up the chain can help solve this issue.

Just wait for the remaster of this game, that will have a speed adjustment option, because if it doesnt, the adhd part of the aoe community will go bananas and start having seizures which is bad for sales.
