if i closes the game and restart it, the problem disappears and reappear randomly. Sometimes it happens again, sometimes it doesnt.
Im on windows 10
It has nothing to do with the "stress" of the game. I'm running the game on an i9 9900k with an RTX 2080 with 32 gigs of ram.
It's the legit copy of the game that does this. Interestingly enough the pirated version of the game doesn't do this.
Check your antivirus.

I told MalwareBytes not to run it's protections on my steam folder, and now this game runs perfectly!
If some hackers are able to target me and ruin my entire life because of my irrational almost lustful love for Age of Mythology, then so be it.
They steal my identity at their own risk.
I've never written anything for a steam support thread before, so idk if you will get notifications from my post, or only if you are quoted.
This problem really bummed me out, so I'm trying to make sure you all know there is hope.
This isn't the year 2003. Give me a break.
Yeah has nothing to do with MB on my end. I'm not running it.
This worked for me, thank you :)
