Greetings!

We welcome you all to sign up for the AoM EE 2v2 Tournament!

Format - 2v2 Team Games (Supremacy)

Patch - EE Beta Patch 2.7 (Subject to change if new patch is released)

Rating Requirement - 1750+ EE Supremacy real rating

Sign up deadline – September 5, 2019

(preponed from Sep 9 to Sep 5)

(teams joining after 5th sep will be considered substitutes)

A. Tournament Hosts and Casters:

If any one of you are interested to cast you are welcome to stream the games and please let us know in the comments section or directly reach out to the hosts/admins.

B. Prize Money

Prize pool – 200 USD as of now. We will add any future donations to the prize pool.

Winners - $120

Runner ups (2nd place) - $50

3rd Place - $30

Prize money will be adjusted and added if there are future donations.

Special Event Winners - $20

Only 2 players per team and 3rd player is not allowed even as a substitute. If you don’t have a team and if you are interested you can still mention your name and look for other players who don’t have a team mate.

Note - Smurfing allowed, But more than one entry by a team/player is prohibited and will lead to disqualification :)

E. Tournament Stages

All Group Stages will be Bo3 and Play Offs will be Bo5 and Finals is Bo7.

Challonge AoM EE 2v2 League Link [challonge.com]

1. Group Stages – Bo3 match wins for points vs all other teams in the group

We will begin with group stages of 5 groups with 5 teams on each

Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, Group E

In the group stage, the points will be determined based on winning a Bo3.

The top two teams from each group advances to the next stage.

In the event of a tie a Bo3 on random maps will be played as a tie breaker between the teams.

The group stage standings will be based on Match wins (i.e. A match win is considered as a Bo3 win vs your opponent team, you will play Four (4) Bo3s in your group stage, Each Vs every other team from your group).

----- Group Stage Standings are based on Match points(Bo3 wins) and not the points gained or game wins.

----- I will post an update regarding playoffs after group stage games are completed - there might be an extra round before the quarter finals for some teams (based on group stage performance).

- Tie breakers if required, will be played as a separate Bo3 and group standings will be adjusted based upon that.

- There will be a point system which will be used ONLY for the purpose of seeds for Quarter finals. This system will be used to have a fair seeding system during playoffs.

- ONLY The Bo3 Match wins determines your standings in your group and not the points.

-Point system (For seeding purpose only): Winning teams from each match should inform me on steam chat and need to publish the match summary in the steam/discord group chat stating that if the Bo3 win is a 2-0 win or a 2-1 win against the opponent team. Team Winning a Bo3 with 2-0 will be awarded 3 points, and Winning a Bo3 with 2-1 will be awarded 2 points, losing a Bo3 is 0 points.


2. Round 1 and Quarter Finals – Bo5

3. Semi Finals – Bo5

4. Third Place – Bo5 (between the two losing teams from the Semi Final matches)

5. Grand Finals – Bo7

No Loser Brackets.

F. Maps

1. ONE [1] Map ban available for each team in all matches

2. Group Stages - Bo3

a. 1 Home map for each team can be selected from the below

Alfheim, Anatolia, Ghost Lake, Marsh, Mediterranean, Midgard, Oasis, Savannah, Tundra, Watering Hole

b. 3rd Game will be played on Random Map (Even if the map is one of the banned maps it must be played in this 3rd game, but teams can choose to Veto if Veto is not used yet, Random Map will be played again after Veto is used with same gods)

3. Playoffs Round 1, Quarter Finals. Semi Finals and Grand Finals – Bo5 & Bo7

a. 1st Game will be played on Random Map (Even if the map is one of the banned maps it must be played in this 1st game, but teams can choose to Veto if Veto is not used yet, Random Map will be played again after Veto is used with same gods)

ALSO Same Map SHOULD NOT BE picked second time in a Match by either of the 2 Teams!

b. 2 Home maps for each team can be selected from the below

c. Bo7 for finals - Game 5, 6 and 7 will be on Random Map (Even if the map is one of the banned maps it must be played in these 3 games (5,6 & 7), but teams can choose to Veto if Veto is not used yet, Random Map will be played again after Veto is used with same gods)

4. Teams can choose to Veto before 2 mins, but replay with same gods for the game Veto'd

a. 1 Veto Allowed per team for Bo3 (Play Again With Same Gods)
b. 2 Vetos Allowed per team for Bo5 and Bo7 (Play Again With Same Gods)

I. Special Event Show Matches – AoM EE Clans can register for this event and this will be Bo3 3v3

Who can participate?
1. Registered AoM EE clans (This event will be conducted after the finals and the EE Clans should register during signups to participate. Only these registered clans will be allowed to play this special event after the finals is completed)

2. A 3-member team formed from the 2 teams that reached finals (If both teams are interested to play, one player can be a substitute or on the rooster and can be rotated)
Note: Just to avoid confusions during sign up, I will share the details for this event to the registered clans after sign up deadline.

J. Rules

• Be nice to everyone in the tournament
• Cheating in any form is prohibited
• No switch Rule: Once the tournament begins you cannot switch teams
• Substitution Rule: If a player is unable to continue no longer, a substitution is allowed with a new player who didn’t signed up for tourney in any other team. The player who left cannot play for that team anymore even if he returns from absence.
• Substitution + Combination Rule: If there are 2 players inactive each from 2 different teams and the 2 teams have only 1 player each and are active then they can regroup together as a single team and proceed further if both are interested. Or can invoke substitution rule.
i.e. if Player 1 from Team A is inactive and Player 2 from Team B is inactive then Player 2 of Team A and Player 1 of Team B can combine and play as a single Team – Either as Team A or B. Not both.
The players who left cannot play for their teams anymore even if they return from absence.
• Smurfs Rule: Smurfs Allowed but Multiple Entries not allowed! - You can join on smurf accounts. But NO multiple entries with main account and multiple smurf accounts is allowed and the team will be disqualified if found out. Appeals suspecting multiple entry will be investigated and if proved it leads to disqualification. Smurfs need to reveal themselves to me and add me to their smurf accounts. Until you let the tournament hosts know who you are, your signup will not be accepted. So please convey your identity only to the hosts. Smurfs Need to be part of steam chats and discord chat in their smurf names. This is just to make sure you are active. In the condition you win the finals, you have to reveal your main account nick name to the community to be eligible for receiving the prize money - This just to maintain the transparency and integrity of the tournament. And I also assure you, your identity will be protected till you reveal your main nickname on your own after winning the championship.
• No abusive comments or racism to anyone or don’t be toxic and hurt other players in a serious way. TWO warnings will be provided and will be disqualified if similar actions are continued.
• Great Flood Rule: China is allowed. But use of Great flood god power is not allowed and the game win will be awarded to opponent if Great Flood is used against a team. No disqualification if great flood is used. Reason – We all know great flood wipes out everything and needs nerf.
• If game crashes or out of sync and in case unable to restore, it will be played again (Same gods & Same Map should be played again and no change allowed)
• Pause limit will be 5 per player in case if a player spams pauses during the game
• Deadline Rule: Games should be completed before Deadline – If a team is inactive and not showing any attempt to schedule then the team which is active will be awarded admin wins. So, we encourage the participating teams to be active. You can use the substitution rule if your team mate goes inactive.
• Out of Sync spammers will be kicked out of the tourney
• All guidelines and rules mentioned are applicable to all participating teams – No Exceptions
• Teams can choose to Veto before 2 mins, but replay with same gods for the game Veto'd

K. Seedings and Brackets

• Seedings for Quarter Finals will be based upon your win rate from group stages. Individual wins and losses will also be considered while seeding
• Seedings for Semi Finals will be based upon your win rate from group stages & quarter finals. Individual wins and losses will also be considered while seeding
