No Resolution Options
I just installed the game after not playing for awhile, but now the only resolution option I have is 720p is that just the way it is now or is there something wrong? I tried using steam launch commands and config tweaks to get 1080p but nothing has worked, I've also tried reinstalling to no avail. Any ideas?

I am playing it at 1920*1080, which i chose in the regular options menu in the game itself.

I am talking about the steam's AoM Extended Edition - not about the original old AOM.

What gpu and are you using, I've heard using a new one like my gtx 1060, can cause an error where it isn't recognized.

amd r380, i did not have performance problems with AOM EE like some other players.

If you can not find a solution through google searches then try to contact the developers/support behind AOM Extended Edition.

Eu consegui fazer o menu de resoluções aparecer na tela
É meio diferente mas funcionou todas as vezes pra mim
Abra o jogo e va até o menu de configurações
Parece besteira mas vc precisa apenas dar um alt+tab até que o jogo apareça na sua tela no formato que ele abre normalmente (640 x480) ai vc aperta a opção jogar em janela, magicamente o menu de resoluções aparece na tela ai você tem que escolher a sua resolução desejada, e apertar em ok. A resolução deve mudar automaticamente, caso nao entre automaticamente você deve apertar alt+tab novamente e quando voce voltar a resolução ja deve estar arrumada, ai você pode desabilitar o modo janela que o jogo vai funcionar normalmente na resolução desejada.
Infelizmente toda vez que voce entrar no jogo voce tera que seguir esses passos, mas ja é melhor que jogar em 640x480.
