my discord starting going off, and thought it was my friends saying they wanna play some games.

checked and Snowbreak started to go off and thought there was new updates.

their discord posted some fishy sites/scams over and over again by the admin. kept saying, "HI EVERYONE" and some other inappropriate things.

if you havent left, i suggest you do.

i dunno. ive been in official servers that are older than SB and havent encountered anything like that. the devs or whoevers in charge, mustve REALLY, pissed someone off.
(the censorship is whatever and easily has a fix.)

It wasn't the Discord but a single mod who got hacked and they have been kicked from the server.

it WAS on the discord, dont tell me otherwise. the mod or admin got hacked and made everyone wonder, HOW secure is their security. i left and dont plan to come back after that

You said "Their official discord has been hacked." There's a difference between a discord server getting hacked and one person's discord account getting hacked. The mod who got their discord account "hacked" was already kicked. All the spamming the "hacker" did with that mod's account has been deleted and dealt with.

Common to Discord, I can confirm from experiences with other channels. Either someone gets hacked or someone gets salty. Usually gets resolved quickly.

Can confirm, I lost my Discord account and it still baffles me to as how. I'm not an extension user/mod user, always keep BitDefender on the active. I live out in the country so not as prone to random attacks as one in a densely populated area would potentially be. With that said, always create an account with each service individually. If you link them all together via Google/Discord/whatever you're just making one key to everything.

That's stupid, you live in paranoia. Creating multiple accounts is hassle for no reason. Just don't be dumb. It's common sense not to click phishing links. Every service has 2F nowadays too, if you get hacked then that's your lack of common sense being the cause of it.

The company is a mess. They've somehow lost my account and when I tried to message their Discord it suddenly gets hacked. If it weren't for MechaBreak coming out soon, I'd likely just write off the company completely. Hopefully they do a better job managing that one than this game. Their support is completely incompetent and the language barrier is annoying.

Do you really have faith in having many account and ONE antivirus? Tell me you're joking because one antivirus won't stop hacker from using other backdoor to get you. Heck, guess who make antivirus the most? Hacker, no surprise there.

first of all as a long time vencord user, my account created since discord early day still safe.

2nd of all, if your account was hacked, likely that they would have gotten more than just your discord account.

so it's likely that you lost your acc to a phishing site disguised as an official discord affiliate site or your account simply got bruteforced.

setup 2FA for important accounts ffs.
